So, you want to apply? Well, applications require templates and what you’re seeing below this short paragraph is the moderator application template. If you want to be a moderator, this is the guideline you’ll follow when you post your application. You should replace the few sentences below each question highlighted in bold, but leave the questions alone as they will categorize portions of your application.
Important: If you are reinstating please skip to “What is your username and unique identifier?” and answer the remaining questions. If you were released from a permanent ban, you must wait three months before you may submit an application.
Before submitting your application, be sure that you meet each of these requirements. Each of these standards can be verified by administrators, so violating this checklist and submitting an application anyway will result in the immediate denial of your application.
You’ve been active on the server for more than ten days and have demonstrably helped other people out on the server.
You’ve been in possession of a forum account for more than five days and have posted in another conversation that isn’t this post.
You’ve joined the server’s community guild on Discord and have been relatively active on other official community platforms.
Before your application has been submitted, you’ve deleted the header and footer of this template including this checklist.
Why would you like to be a moderator?
I’d like to be a moderator because so and so and because blah blah blah. (Please create a short paragraph in response to this question.)
What’s the first thing you’d do as a moderator?
Give us some insight into what you’ll change for this community. What’s your standard, and what are your goals? (Short paragraph.)
How long have you been playing on the server?
Since the dawn of man. (Just answer with when you joined the server. We don’t need specific dates.)
What is your username and unique identifier?
A unique identifier (UUID) is a string of characters which identifies your account and doesn’t ever change. You can get this information from a website like NameMC and just paste it here.
Do you have any social media?
This is where you should provide your DiscordTag (if you have one, but as a moderator you will eventually need one) and other social media that’s relevant to your online presence.
The remainder of these questions only applies to staff members filing for their former rank.
What was your rank prior to when you left the server?
Why were you removed from your role?
Please specify if you requested to go inactive or that your rank was removed during an activity check by the Executive staff.
After your application is ready, feel free to submit it. Do not post your application to the “accepted” or “denied” categories as those are for applications that have been judged.
